Cathi Altonji -- Citizen, Volumnia, Servingman

Cathi is honored to work with RCS again, and becoming intimately familiar with this very powerful but lesser known Shakespeare play has been both a bonus and a real joy. A resident of Huntsville since 2006, she most recently performed as Duchess Frederick and Adam (now a favorite role) in RCS's production of "As You Like It".  Cathi has performed with community theatres in Georgia, N. Carolina, and elsewhere in Alabama, and has recently begun branching out into film. She would like to thank director Mandy Hughes for this terrific opportunity to play and to grow, the rest of the cast and crew for sharing their talents and working REALLY hard (take an extra bow, Ryan McKannon), and of course her very supportive husband and family (what were their names again?)

Brian Beck-- Citizen, Tullus Aufidius, Aedile

William Blaylock -- Citizen, Senator, Scout, Soldier, Officer, Adrian

Lauren Carlton -- Brutus, Gentlewoman, Roman, Lord

Lauren Carlton is an Alabama-based actor and mezzo-soprano. She has appeared with the Astoria Music Festival in Oregon as Zita in Gianni Schicchi and most recently, as a young artist with Greensboro Light Opera and Song in North Carolina as the Duchess of Plaza-Toro in The Gondoliers and Prince Orlofsky in Act II of Die Fledermaus. Other operatic credits include Poppett (Paul Bunyan), Katisha (The Mikado), Madame Kirsten (The Beautiful Bridegroom), Hansel (Hansel and Gretel), and Meg (The Ballad of Baby Doe). Equally comfortable in musical theatre, she originated the role of Plucky in the world premiere of Amir Zaheri’s musical, Over Dinner, and has appeared as a soloist in pops and cabaret concerts with Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, University of Alabama Opera Theatre, Ars Nova Huntsville, and Oregon’s KALA Café. Ms. Carlton is the 2012 winner of the Alabama Federation of Music Clubs Women’s Collegiate Voice Auditions and the 2012 Music Teachers National Association Young Artist Voice Competition for the state of Alabama. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Communication in journalism and a minor in opera studies from the University of Alabama where she studied with Paul Houghtaling. She currently teaches private voice and children’s theatre with Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater in Huntsville.

Lora Hibbard -- Citizen, Messenger, Lieutenant, Herald, Officer, Patrician, Assistant Director, Front of House Manager

Lora is excited to return to Rocket City Shakespeare in an acting role as well as behind-the-scenes roles. A lifelong participant in various forms of theatre, music, and dance, this is their third production with RCS, their first time Assistant Directing, and their first time on stage since 2007. When they aren’t acting, assisting Mandy with directing, or poking actors with sticks, they work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the UAH English department, working towards a Master’s Degree in English Literature. Thanks to my family, both local and long-distance, for believing in me. Populi Urbis Est!

In the mean time, look for her work in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Richard III", UAH Theatre's and Rocket City Shakespeare's upcoming shows, and A Midsummer Night's Dream with UAH Theatre. Thanks go out to awesome friends and family, most especially Vance, Soph, and The Baby X, and to you, the audience.
Birdie Jones -- Fight Choreographer

Birdie Jones is thrilled to join Rocket City Shakespeare as their fight choreographer for Coriolanus! Usually in a production, she can be found hiding backstage or in the booth, serving as stage manager. She's managed many productions with the UAHuntsville Theatre Department including The Tempest, The Consul, and Sunday in the Park with George for which she was nominated for a Kennedy Center scholarship for stage management. She's also worked for The Huntsville Arts Council, UAH Music Department, Lyrique Musical Productions, Mountain Side Theatre in Cherokee NC, and she currently serves as production stage manager for the Huntsville Ballet Company. When not making rehearsal reports, drooling over stage combat videos on YouTube, and chasing dancers and stage hands with sticks, she can be found baking, knitting, and spoiling her cats. She sends her love to the cast and crew. Break a leg everyone!
Amy Landreneau -- Messenger, Valeria, Roman, Noble

Amy is more than delighted to be part of this Shakespeare play with an amazing group of actors and directors once again! Much thanks to Mandy for taking Amy in with her start-up production of "Taming of the Shrew" and her follow-up productions of "As You Like It" and now "Coriolanus"! Some previous roles have included Olive in "Odd Couple (Female Version)" (TH), Bitsy Mae in "Sordid Lives" (TH), Mrs. Pugh in "Annie" (LMP) and Ms. Watson in "Big" (LMP). James Lawlor -- Menenius, Senator, Conspirator, Photography

James is thrilled to join Rocket City Shakespeare in what will hopefully be the first of many productions.
